Connexus Recruit is partnering with an established Irish business to appoint a commercially driven Head of eCommerce in Co. Kildare with hybrid working.

You will own and lead the eCommerce strategy, drive online revenue and play a key role in international growth. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in eCommerce or online leadership, proven revenue scaling in a D2C setup, and strong skills in performance marketing, CRM, and conversion optimisation.

Competenze

• 5+ years' experience in eCommerce or online leadership role.
• Proven track record of scaling online revenue in a D2C environment.
• Strong expertise in performance marketing, CRM and conversion optimisation.
• Experience with Shopify, GA4, Google Ads and Meta.
• Commercially focused, analytical and hands-on leadership.
• Experience in consumer products health/wellness advantageous but not essential.

Head of eCommerce

Location: Co. Kildare | Hybrid

Connexus Recruit is partnering with an established and growing Irish business operating internationally within the FMCG sector to appoint a commercially driven Head of eCommerce.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and take ownership of the company's eCommerce strategy from the ground up, drive online revenue and play a key role in its next phase of international growth

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an ambitious eCommerce growth strategy and team with full ownership of online revenue and profitability.
• Lead digital marketing strategy in order to drive online traffic across paid media, SEO, CRM and email marketing.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, conversion rates and overall customer lifetime value.
• Optimise the eCommerce Shopify Plus platform, website performance and customer experience.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for international D2C expansion.
• Manage budgets, external agencies and digital partners to maximise ROI.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years' experience in an eCommerce, digital commerce or online commercial leadership role.
• Proven track record of scaling online revenue, ideally within a D2C environment.
• Strong expertise across performance marketing strategising, customer acquisition, CRM and conversion optimisation.
• Experience with platforms and tools such as Shopify, GA4, Google Ads and Meta.
• Commercially focused, analytical and comfortable operating in a hands-on leadership role.
• Experience in consumer products, health, wellness or nutrition would be advantageous but is not essential.
