Job summary

The role works closely with the CEO, COO, and senior leadership to ensure sound credit decision-making, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Business, Management, or related discipline.
• Senior management experience leading credit, Banking, underwriting, or operational teams in a regulated commercial environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Experience improving business processes, operational performance, governance, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the credit and underwriting function, ensuring high-quality decision-making in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to credit strategy and risk management.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams by setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards.
• Drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency, customer service, quality, and turnaround times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, dealers, and key business partners to improve engagement and service delivery.
• Support business growth through collaboration with business development teams and the implementation of new systems and technologies.
• Ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management, reporting, and documentation while supporting audits and regulatory reviews.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the company's credit function while driving operational excellence and supporting strategic growth.
