Qualifications

• Senior management experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.
• Strong governance, compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience in fast-paced operational environments.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in underwriting or credit operations is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team within a busy credit and underwriting function.
• Drive team performance to meet service levels and targets.
• Coach and mentor team members for performance and development.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor workflow, productivity and quality across the team.
