Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven senior management experience leading credit, banking, underwriting, or operational teams in a regulated commercial environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the credit and underwriting function, ensuring high-quality decision-making in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to credit strategy and risk management.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams by setting objectives, KPIs, and performance standards.
• Drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency, customer service, quality, and turnaround times.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, dealers, and key business partners to improve engagement and service delivery.
• Support business growth through collaboration with business development teams and implementation of new systems and technologies.
• Ensure governance, compliance, risk management, reporting, and documentation while supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
