Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a Dublin-based role in a professional services organisation. The role manages a busy ledger, follows up on invoices and resolves collection issues, with a focus on high-value and B2B accounts.

You will work with internal teams, maintain debtor records, and build strong client relationships while upholding a commercial approach to collections. The package is up to €50k + benefits, with DOE.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in Credit Control, Collections or Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience managing a busy ledger, ideally involving high-value or B2B accounts.
  • A good understanding of debt recovery and credit control processes.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Confidence dealing with customers and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience within legal or professional services would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts and maintaining accurate debtor records.
  • Following up on outstanding invoices and overdue balances.
  • Reviewing aged debt and identifying accounts requiring further action.
  • Handling payment queries, disputes and account issues through to resolution.
  • Agreeing payment arrangements where appropriate and progressing difficult accounts.

  • Providing updates on collection activity and outstanding balances.
  • Building positive relationships with clients while maintaining a commercial approach to collections.
  • Ensuring all account activity and correspondence is accurately recorded.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join the Finance team of a well-established and highly regarded professional services organisation in Dublin.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in credit control who enjoys working with clients, managing a busy ledger and taking ownership of the collection process.

The Role:
