Job summary

GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction in Cork is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive a portfolio of technically complex MEP projects across Ireland and Europe. You will shape pricing, risk, contract terms and client negotiations, operating at Commercial Manager/Head of Commercial level within a major contractor environment.

You will build and mentor the commercial team, oversee cash flow and margins, and report to the senior leadership group.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial leadership within MEP/building services at senior level.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, FIDIC and main contractor terms.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate commercial teams.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management at board level.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior commercial leadership across a portfolio of technically complex MEP projects.
• Lead bid-stage commercial strategy: pricing, risk, contract review and terms.
• Oversee cost management, forecasting, cash flow and margin protection.
• Manage and develop the commercial team with set standards and reporting.
• Lead change management, claims and final account negotiations with clients.
• Manage supply chain and subcontract procurement strategy for value.
• Report performance to senior leadership and contribute to planning.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and partners across Ireland/Europe.
