Job summary

Hibernian Recruitment is partnering with a well-established finance provider in Ireland to hire a Head of Collections. You will lead a credit control team, manage complex arrears, and uphold strong client relationships while driving cash collection and risk management across the business.

You will work in a hybrid setup, with one day in the office, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise processes, reporting, and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a credit control or collections function.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Highly organised with strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Financial services, banking or asset finance experience would be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

We are working with a well-established and growing independent finance provider supporting SMEs across Ireland with fast, flexible finance solutions. The business has built its reputation on outstanding customer service, quick decision-making and a personal approach to lending. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Collections to join the team. Working alongside a Credit Controller and Credit Collector,you'll lead the day-to-day credit control function, ensuring effective management of customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
