Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Cork partners with a leading global business to recruit an AR Team Lead. You will lead a team of about 10 collections professionals, manage day-to-day activities, and drive process improvements across credit, cash applications and master data.

You will collaborate with wider finance teams, prepare operational and management reporting, supervise performance, and ensure targets are met while developing your team and maintaining quality controls.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years in an AR/Collections supervisory role.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Experience managing collections targets and aged debt.
• A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong Excel skills.

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 Collections professionals, including 1:1s, performance management and development planning.
• Manage day-to-day collections activity and ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets are achieved.
• Monitor and prioritise aged debt and ensure disputes are followed up and escalated appropriately.
• Drive the effective use of collections systems and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Work closely with Credit, Cash Applications, Master Data and wider internal teams.
• Prepare operational, SOX and management reporting.
• Ensure processes, controls and quality standards are consistently maintained.

We’re delighted to be partnering with a leading global business with offices here in Cork, in their search for an AR Team Lead.

This is a great role for an experienced AR / Collections professional who enjoys leading a team and getting stuck into process improvement.

You’ll be responsible for leading a team of around 10 Collections professionals, ensuring performance is managed effectively and the team is supported and developed. You’ll also work closely with the wider finance teams across Credit, Cash Applications and Master Data, while helping to improve processes and controls across the function.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Manage day‑to‑day collections activity and ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets are achieved.

ABOUT THE PERSON:
