Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is partnering with a growing financial services organisation in Ireland to fill a permanent, full-time role in credit control and arrears management. The role is onsite with hybrid flexibility in South Dublin / North Wicklow, offering a salary of €34,000-€40,000 and a strong benefits package.

You will engage with customers, set repayment plans, work with solicitors, and support leadership initiatives, contributing to a meaningful, community-focused mission.

Qualifications

  • Around three years' experience in credit control, arrears management or a similar role.
  • QFA qualification or working towards completion in 2026/2027.
  • Knowledge of MARP and personal insolvency legislation is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to help prevent and reduce loan arrears.
  • Agree practical repayment plans with clients experiencing financial difficulty.
  • Review arrears cases and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Keep accurate records across internal systems and trackers.
  • Handle member queries clearly, fairly and professionally.
  • Work with external solicitors and attend court where required.
  • Contribute to regular team and case-review meetings.
  • Support wider business initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership.

The Role:

The Candidate:
  • You have around three year's experience in credit control, arrears management or a similar financial services role.
  • You hold a relevant QFA qualification, or are working towards completion in 2026 or early 2027, and ideally have knowledge of MARP and personal insolvency legislation.
  • You're a confident communicator who can manage sensitive conversations, prioritise effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues.
