Carton House, a five-star resort and the first Fairmont in Ireland, is recruiting a Head Bartender for The Carriage House to elevate guest experiences. Join our Food & Beverage team and lead service excellence in a landmark property.

The role requires a solid understanding of hotel operations, initiative, and superb English communication, with prior 4/5* hotel experience preferred. Benefits include meals, staff discounts, training, parking and growth opportunities.

• Upsell opportunities to maximise sales and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure F&B products are served to the company standard of presentation.
• Carry out cash handling procedures in line with company policy.

We are currently recruiting Head Bartender to join our excellent Food and Beverage team at The Carriage House at Carton House.

Key Requirements

• A real understanding of hotel operation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
• Previous 4/5* hotel experience desirable.
• A structured and organized approach to work planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner.
• Represent Carton House's passion for customer service, proactively ensuring each guest has the memorable experience expected at Carton House.
• To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, specials and ingredients, beverages on offer, wine list, etc)
• Familiarize yourself with sales and promotional activity and up sell at every possible opportunity.
• Ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation.
• Carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.
