Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Hardware Verification Engineer to join its Hexagon DSP AI team. You will verify complex hardware designs, build robust testbenches, and apply modern verification methodologies to ensure high-quality silicon.

The role offers opportunities to work alongside experienced engineers, develop expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and RTL development, and contribute to cutting-edge processor technologies in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience in hardware design, verification, or digital design.
• Exposure to SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, or similar HDLs.
• Basic understanding of computer architecture, microprocessors, and digital logic design.

Responsibilities

• Support verification of processor, DSP, AI accelerator, and system-level hardware designs.
• Develop and maintain testbench components using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Create and execute verification test cases to validate hardware functionality.
• Assist in developing constrained-random, directed, and coverage-driven verification environments.
• Analyze simulation results and debug functional issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Collaborate with design and architecture teams to understand specifications and verification requirements.
• Collect and analyze functional and code coverage metrics to drive verification closure.
• Contribute to verification automation, scripting, and infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in design and verification reviews and team technical discussions.
