Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a Senior Hardware Verification Engineer to verify complex processor architectures across mobile, automotive, compute, and AI products. You will drive verification strategies, develop testbenches and coverage plans, and collaborate with architects, designers and software teams to deliver robust silicon.

The role requires 4+ years in hardware verification, strong SystemVerilog/UVM skills, and proficiency in C/C++/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of hardware design verification experience.
• Strong experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, and modern verification methodologies.
• Experience verifying complex CPU, GPU, DSP, AI accelerator, networking, or SoC designs.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C, C++, Python or similar.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across design stack.

Responsibilities

• Drive verification of complex processor, DSP, AI accelerator, and system-level designs.
• Develop verification plans, testbenches, and coverage strategies for functional correctness.
• Utilize constrained-random, coverage-driven, assertion-based, and formal verification methods.
• Collaborate with design/architecture teams to review specs and identify verification risks.
• Debug RTL and system-level issues via simulation, emulation, and formal analysis.
• Develop reusable verification infrastructure, automation, and verification IP.
• Analyze coverage metrics and drive closure across multiple projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in verification methodologies and tools.
