Job summary

Crown Quarter is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager for Jaspers Restaurant. You will report to the Restaurant Manager and help run day-to-day operations, ensuring warm, professional and memorable guest experiences on the floor.

You will lead by example, develop the team and uphold service standards while managing reservations, staff rosters and health & safety procedures during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality supervisory/management role.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• The ability to work as part of a team while also taking responsibility and using initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of Jaspers Restaurant, ensuring a high standard of food, beverage and guest service.
• Manage and oversee all restaurant reservations, ensuring accurate booking records and optimal table allocation.
• Lead and motivate the team during service, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
• Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and consistently excellent service throughout their visit.
• Act as a point of contact for guests, dealing confidently and professionally with queries and issues.
• Assist with team scheduling, briefings and daily allocation of duties to ensure the restaurant is appropriately staffed.
