Job summary

Crown Quarter in Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager for Jaspers Restaurant. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help run day-to-day service, lead the floor team and maintain high standards of guest care and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operation of Jaspers Restaurant, ensuring high standards of food, beverage and guest service.
• Manage and oversee all restaurant reservations, ensuring accurate booking records and optimal table allocation.
• Lead and motivate the team during service, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
• Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and consistently excellent service throughout their visit.
• Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing queries and feedback professionally.
• Assist with team scheduling, briefings and daily allocation of duties.
• Support training, coaching and development of team members.
• Ensure SOPs, service standards, food safety and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Carry out regular floor checks to maintain service, presentation and guest care.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and monitoring of food and beverage requirements.
• Support management in achieving departmental targets and controlling costs.
• Ensure the restaurant is correctly set up before service and closing procedures are followed.
• Work closely with Kitchen and other F&B departments for smooth communication.
• Assist with organisation and delivery of events and busy service periods.
• Support implementation of new ideas to improve guest and team experience.
• Lead by example and uphold Crown Quarter values and standards.
• Deputise for the Restaurant Manager when required.
