Job summary

ZAIQA NATION WIDE FOOD WHOLESALERS LIMITED in Cork is seeking an experienced meat processor to cut, trim, slice and section carcasses for future processing. You will ensure meat is prepared to meet diverse ethnic customer requirements and maintain strict Halal standards. Prior halal knowledge is essential.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience and a Level 4 qualification. This is a full-time on-site role based at Unit 1, S Ring W Ind Pk Tram, Cork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in meat processing/ carving.
• Level 4 qualification as specified.
• Halal meat knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, slice, and section carcasses for processing.
• Prepare meat for packing according to customer requirements.
• Inspect meat for defects, bruises and blemishes.
• Remove excess fat and separate meats and byproducts.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the process.
