Job summary

MWeds Ltd in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Butcher to join our production team. You will produce cuts and trims to our specifications at line speed and debone several types of meat.

The ideal candidate has experience breaking down cattle and lamb, and a strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines. You will work in a chilled area, check cuts for quality, and help meet daily production targets. Other duties may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

• Experience in breaking down cattle and lamb.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Producing cuts and trims of meat to company specifications at line speed.
• Deboning several types of meats.
• Following production targets.
• Able to work in chilled area.
• Checking cuts of meat for bruises, blemishes and defects and remove accordingly.
• Other duties that may be part of the role from time to time.
