Job summary

H&D Meats Ltd T/A Robinson Meats is seeking an experienced butcher to join our team at Chapelizod, Dublin. The role involves producing cuts and trims to our specifications at line speed, deboning various meats, and meeting production targets in a chilled environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent knife skills, experience breaking down cattle and lamb, strong customer service, and solid HACCP/food safety knowledge. This is a full-time, onsite position with a 39-hour week.

Qualifications

• Proven knife handling and deboning skills.
• Experience breaking down cattle and lamb.
• Strong customer service abilities.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce cuts and trims to company specifications and maintain line speed.
• Debone various meats as required.
• Meet production targets consistently.
• Work effectively in a chilled environment.
• Inspect meat for defects and remove accordingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary: €36,605 p.a.

Hours: 39 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Producing cuts and trims of meat to the company's specification and at line speed
• Deboning several types of meats
• Following production targets
• Able to work in chilled area
• Checking cuts of meat for bruises, blemishes and defects and remove accordingly
• Other duties that may be part of the role from time to time

Requirements

• Excellent knife skills
• Experience in breaking down cattle and lamb
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
