Job summary

Tullamore Court Hotel is seeking warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team. You will help create memorable dining experiences across bars, restaurants, functions and events with friendly, attentive service.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, you will ensure guests feel welcomed and well cared for during their visit, supporting colleagues during busy periods and maintaining high presentation and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, food service or customer service experience is desirable, but full training can be provided.
• Warm, friendly and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Take orders accurately and communicate to the teams clearly.
• Serve food and drinks while maintaining presentation standards.
• Prepare dining areas, bars and function rooms before service.
• Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized and stocked.
• Provide information about menus, ingredients and options.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback.
• Follow all food safety, allergen, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Support colleagues across the department during busy periods and events.
• Contribute to a positive working environment.
