McElhinneys Department Store in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, seeks an experienced E-commerce Manager to own the online store, drive digital revenue, and optimise the customer journey on Shopify Plus.

You will leverage data, implement UX and CRO strategies, and collaborate with marketing and customer service to grow conversion, AOV, and retention. This is a full-time on-site role with strong growth potential for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in e-commerce management or senior digital trading role.
• On-site in Ballybofey, Donegal; remote option after 6 months for the right candidate.
• Hands-on Shopify Plus management and platform scaling.
• Strong data-driven trading mindset with profitability focus.
• Analytical skills in e-commerce metrics and ROI.
• Proven team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the e-commerce P&L and trading calendar aligned with promotions.
• Lead day-to-day Shopify Plus operations and coordinate with agencies.
• Leverage AI and integrations to boost efficiency and UX.
• Drive CRO, CRO testing, and conversion rate improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing for paid, SEO, and social campaigns.
• Oversee site merchandising, navigation, and performance.
• Develop CRM strategies with email/SMS lifecycle journeys.
• Mentor and develop the e-commerce and digital content team.
• Provide weekly insights to senior leadership based on data.
