Job summary

Sysco Ireland is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead a high-performing finance organisation across Ireland. You will drive financial control, reporting, governance and tax compliance while partnering with the CFO and senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions.

Key initiatives include the ongoing Microsoft Dynamics 365 rollout and finance operating model transformation. A strong background in IFRS, SOX controls and large-scale audits is essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Significant post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership roles.
• Experience leading financial control, reporting and compliance in a large multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SOX controls.
• Experience managing internal and external audit processes.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions.
• ERP implementation or finance transformation experience, preferably Dynamics 365.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial control framework across all Ireland entities.
• Oversee month-/quarter-/year-end close and reporting to Group.
• Maintain balance sheet control and governance.
• Drive finance transformation and ERP implementation with Dynamics 365.
• Partner with CFO and executive team to drive strategic decisions.
• Develop and lead a large finance team across disciplines.
• Ensure tax, VAT and regulatory compliance.
