Johnson & Johnson Ireland invites applications for a Graduate Manufacturing Process Specialist in Cork, starting September 2027. Reporting to Operations Manager, the role supports capital project teams and day-to-day troubleshooting within Operations.

You will gain cross-functional exposure on site, participate in personal development and training, and develop project management and process improvement skills. The position offers a base pay range of 34,800–55,775 EUR per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Science or Engineering, due to graduate in 2027.
• Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP, LIMs and/or other business systems.
• 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Customer focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment; drive process optimisation.
• Monitor and report process performance using statistical process control.
• Troubleshoot DCS (Delta V) and PLC control systems.
• Investigate and resolve issues within Manufacturing.
• Participate in/lead cross-functional teams when required.
• Support commissioning and qualification activities.
• Prepare and update Batch Records, Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Provide process and equipment training within Manufacturing.
• Complete tasks to support manufacture of quality biomedicines compliant with cGMP and GDP.
• Lead commissioning and qualification activities for current and future projects.
