Job summary

NETGEAR in Cork is hiring graduate Mobile Software Engineers to join our Mobile Engineering team. You will help build the next generation of native mobile apps that connect millions of NETGEAR customers to their devices.

You’ll work across the full product life cycle and write production code in weeks, not months, using AI coding agents as a standard tool. You will join a hybrid Cork team, spending at least three days in the office to collaborate, learn and share ideas, while owning your work

Qualifications

• Graduate-level software development experience or internship in mobile apps.
• Strong fundamentals in Android or iOS app development.
• Familiarity with automated testing and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Building features in native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) apps from ticket to release.
• Own quality including functional QA, regression testing and release validation.
• Test on real devices and ensure edge cases work for end users.
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration and UI tests.
• Work AI-first with agentic coding tools to plan, write, test, review and refactor.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build tooling and release automation.
• Debug and optimize using production crash, performance and analytics data.
• Integrate APIs, SDKs and cloud services to power app functionality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews.
