Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Graduate Automation Engineer at the Ringaskiddy site, Cork, Ireland. The role sits in the Global Engineering & Technology (GET) Group and focuses on developing, supporting and maintaining Automation Systems across the lifecycle.

You will engage in cross-functional activities, contribute to PAS, PLC and BAS projects, and gain exposure to senior management while pursuing a recognised qualification through the Johnson & Johnson Graduate Programme.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a minimum bachelor’s level degree in Engineering, Science, IT or equivalent and due to graduate in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times in compliance with Credo and Standards of Leadership.
• Support the execution of Automation PAS, PLC and BAS projects including upgrades and related tasks.
• Proactive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of automation systems.
• Lifecycle management of Automation systems.
• Manage business relationships to ensure Automation meets requirements.
• Provide training materials and SOPs for Automation enabling services.
• Ensure safety and environmental procedures are followed during activities.
