Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a talented software engineer to develop bit-accurate C/C++ models for new graphics architectures in Cork, Ireland. You will contribute to validating designs through C-Models and RTL simulations within a distributed team.

The role emphasizes strong knowledge of computer architecture and graphics pipelines, hands-on C++ development, debugging, and the ability to build robust test suites and automation.

What you will do

• Develop bit-accurate functional C/C++ models for new architectures

• Execute conformance, stress, and random tests to stabilize GPU and compute systems

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of computer architecture and/or graphics pipelines
• Intermediate+ C++ development, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience building models in C++
• Knowledge of graphics/compute APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, etc.)
• Clean, maintainable C++ coding practices
• Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
• Background in 3D graphics, GPU compute, drivers, or compilers
• Experience with Agile development
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with distributed teams
