Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork is seeking a GPU Engineer to architect, design, verify, and optimize the performance and power of GPU cores, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.

The role requires advanced degrees (MSc/PhD preferred) with 2+ years of GPU experience and, for positions with leadership, 1+ year interacting with senior leadership; you will write driver/compiler software and create test plans.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, CS, EE or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant GPU experience.
• 1+ year interacting with senior leadership (for suitable roles).
• 1+ year in a technical leadership role with direct reports (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU core performance and power.
• Build functional model simulations and develop software to verify graphics output.
• Design and run graphics tests to verify functionality, performance, and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align with goals.
• Develop driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
• Produce detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions.
