Telnyx LLC is seeking backend software engineers to design and build Go services for our serverless platform and control plane. You’ll own APIs, resource lifecycles, and workloads across our edge infrastructure, with a focus on reliability and developer experience.

You’ll work with Kubernetes-based infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern tooling to deploy and maintain highly available services. The role values collaboration, API design, and strong problem-solving skills.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in a comparable backend language and an interest in writing Go.
• Solid distributed systems fundamentals including retries, partial failures, and idempotency.
• Comfort designing APIs and resource models for engineers to use.
• Experience with relational databases, including schemas, transactions, and migrations.
• Experience building asynchronous systems using queues or state machines.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and deploying workloads on Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Experience running highly available services, including on-call responsibilities.

• Design and build the Go services behind our serverless platform and control plane.
• Own backend and control-plane software, APIs, and resource lifecycles.
• Ensure clean APIs, a sharp CLI, predictable behavior, and strong developer experience.
• Build reliable deployment, configuration, storage, and observability workflows.
• Work with Kubernetes and runtime infrastructure to diagnose latency and reliability issues.
• Develop tooling for safe scale and participate in on-call for the systems built.
