Telnyx is hiring a Software Engineer (Elixir) in Dublin & Amsterdam. The role

You’ll join the team that owns the stack customers use to interact with our platform — API gateway, authentication, rate‑limiting — and help every other squad expose and monitor their services better. You will:

• Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems used across Telnyx
• Debug production issues across gateway, auth, network and application layers
• Ship features at large scale with squads across the company
• Raise the bar on tooling, observability and reliability

What we’re looking for

• 1+ years of professional software development with an object‑oriented or functional language (Elixir preferred)
• An appreciation of functional programming and the drive to become an expert Elixir engineer
• Experience with relational databases at scale
• An understanding of concurrent and distributed programming challenges
• Knowledge of microservices patterns and anti‑patterns
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Grafana and/or RabbitMQ

Bonus points

• Experience building or operating customer‑facing APIs, gateways, auth systems or internal platforms
• Experience with Envoy
• You thrive in a fast‑paced, product‑driven environment
