Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Galway-based client on an evening rotation. You will be responsible for setup, maintenance and fault finding of automated vial and syringe filling equipment, ensuring GMP-compliant documentation and reliable operation.

You will coordinate with engineers and external contractors, manage spare parts and service visits, and contribute to a robust maintenance program including RCM and FMEA analyses, while adapting to cGMP and EHS

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Structured decision making and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents and to compile technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Setup, planned maintenance and fault finding of automated vial and syringe filling equipment.
• Maintenance of equipment and utilities and documenting work to GMP standards.
• Manage external contractors for equipment installations and service visits.
• Manage spare parts, consumables and services to keep equipment schedules compliant.
• Develop and promote a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy with FMECA/FMEA analyses.
