Job summary

CREG G Group is hiring a Manufacturing Technician in Cork to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment. The role supports continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of equipment maintenance in a high-volume regulated environment.
• National Craft Certificate or equivalent technical qualification (L6).
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics.
• Experience with GMP/ISO standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment following maintenance plans and GMP standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Record maintenance activities in CMMS and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support equipment qualification, validation, and continuous improvement projects with engineering and quality teams.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and handover of new equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability initiatives.
