Job summary

Concern Worldwide in Dublin or London seeks an Adviser to support learning across knowledge creation and sharing. You will work with external researchers and country programmes to manage a substantial research portfolio and contribute to learning products from evaluations and results.

This fixed-term, nine-month role reports to the Director Technical Assistance SAL and requires strong English, analytical skills and experience in NGO settings. Occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a multi-disciplinary field related to development or research.
• Experience in NGO/development settings, including emergency or fragile states.
• Practical understanding of community-driven research approaches and tools.
• Strong written English; interview may require a writing sample.
• Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, coordination and day-to-day management of the research portfolio.
• Support policy development, meta-evaluations and learning processes.
• Coordinate with MEL, Global Officer Programme Knowledge & Learning teams.
• Produce annual reviews and support country programme assessments.
• Coordinate Masters’ research projects and cross-organisational learning.
