Job summary

PCI Pharma Services Ireland is seeking a Programme Manager within the Strategic Projects function to lead a large-scale programme comprising multiple sub-projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure delivery on time and budget while maintaining quality standards.

The role emphasises strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication with on-site, global, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large-scale programmes with multiple sub-projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in budgeting, risk management and reporting to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of NPI processes and GMP/Regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing cross-functional team delivering sub-projects within a large programme.
• Communicate programme status, risks, and milestones to area managers.
• Provide best-in-class service during on-site reviews and steering meetings.
• Define strategy, scope and objectives with sponsors and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate resources and track task completion across teams.
• Create and manage project timelines, identify critical paths.
• Report CapEx expenditure and benefits to Site Leadership Team.
• Prioritise delivery for global client base with Right First Time and OTIF.
• Manage risks across the programme lifecycle.
• Oversee New Product Introduction process per company procedures.
• Escalate major concerns to Ireland SLT and report health of programme.
• Identify improvement opportunities and harmonise large projects.
• Provide strong leadership from concept to handover.
• Utilise management toolkits to document progress.
• Foster a community and ensure change controls are followed.
• Undertake ad hoc projects to meet needs.
