Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Global Product Specialist to lead product management for Busbar offerings. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Service to drive growth and profitability of the Busbar portfolio.

The role requires market research, development of lifecycle plans, pricing management and cross‑regional stakeholder engagement to deliver compelling product strategies and customer value. Travel to Ireland and Vertiv facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related technical field.
• Understanding of busbar trunking systems and IEC/UL standards.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships across regions.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, and project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product lifecycle plans from introduction to end of production.
• Create and maintain business cases from ideation to launch.
• Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Translate insights into strategic product requirements.
• Prepare presentations, demos, and sales enablement tools.
• Manage pricing, discounts, and profitability forecasts.
• Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation programs.
• Track post-launch sales performance metrics.
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency/quality.
