Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support the design and documentation of customized busbar assemblies. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage BOMs in PLM/ERP systems and ensure accurate, organized design records.

You will help drive efficient design reviews and production readiness, while maintaining documentation integrity and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with engineering drawings and product BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Engineering and Planning to prepare projects for production.
• Track MCC and CADMT schedule to meet timelines.
• Support Mechanical Engineering with design review scheduling and prototype reviews.
• Verify BOMs and ensure drawings are stored correctly before manufacturing.
• Ensure electrical wiring diagrams, mechanical BOM and production drawings are aligned.
