Barden, on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join on a 6-month temporary contract in Ireland. The role suits a professional with 5+ years in payroll administration within a large multinational, leveraging payroll systems to drive accuracy and efficiency.

You will work with senior stakeholders to support payroll operations, implement changes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across payroll functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll administration within a large and complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, statutory deductions, and insurance-related schemes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll process improvements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Assist with accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring statutory requirements and KPIs are met.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and payroll team to support operations, workload planning and HR changes.
• Provide support on payroll-related projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and knowledge resources to minimise risk.
