Barden are delighted to assist a global pharmaceutical company to help identify a Payroll Specialist to join the team on a 6-month temporary contract.

This opportunity would ideally suit a professional with at least 3 years payroll experience in a world-renowned multinational.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Support payroll process improvements and automation initiatives, helping to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, internal controls, and agreed KPIs.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and team members to support payroll operations, workload planning, and the implementation of HR and business changes.
  • Provide support on payroll-related projects, audits, financial queries, and continuous improvement initiatives across the payroll function.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of payroll policies, procedures, and knowledge resources, helping to minimise financial and compliance risk through effective payroll administration.
ABOUT THE PERSON
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll administration within a large and complex organisation, with experience using payroll systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, statutory deductions, and insurance-related schemes, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a wider payroll team.
