Job summary

Expeditors, a global leader in supply chain management, seeks a Product Manager to advance the Transcon product in the marketplace. You will focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture while adhering to company policy and procedures.

You will review quotations, support with charges and quotes, maintain the Transcon database, and participate in weekly branch sales meetings to discuss market trends and transitions of new business.

• Meets deadlines; organized, able to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review and support with day-to-day quotations.
• Check local charges and quotes to minimize branch losses.
• Have thorough knowledge of the Transcon product including export and import database.
• Plan and support huddles and monthly market intelligence discussions.
• Attend weekly branch Sales meetings and discuss Transcon updates and trends.
• Assist with transition of new business and updates to existing business.
• Grow department revenue in line with budget targets and management expectations.
• Support BNP, AJAX, CLH, and internal financial reports for clean accounting.
• Maintain positive relationship with Trade Compliance Manager and support compliance trainings.
• Be open to system changes and process improvements.
• Review staff appraisals and timely one-to-one meetings; assist with goal setting and development.
