Job summary

Aerogen in Galway, Ireland, seeks a Project Manager to lead strategic projects across product and process technology development. You will oversee a diverse cross-functional team to drive successful completion of initiatives.

Requirements include a degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years in project engineering. Experience in medical devices is advantageous; PMP/Agile/PM master's desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, Science or a technology discipline with 5+ years in a project engineering role.
• Experience in the medical device sector is advantageous.
• PMP, Agile and/or Master’s in Project Management is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead project lifecycle from initiation to closure across multiple domains.
• Develop detailed plans with timelines, resources, risks and milestones.
• Guide cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
• Align project goals with wider organisational strategy and long-term vision.
• Identify threats and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain stakeholder communications and address concerns.
• Develop and monitor project budgets.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to standards.
• Adapt to scope changes while preserving deadlines and quality.
• Generate reports and documentation to track progress.
• Close projects and document lessons learned for improvements.
