Job summary

Verizon in Ireland is seeking an Associate Director to lead Strategic Sourcing for Marketing from its Dublin office in a hybrid role. You will shape the global sourcing strategy across a multi-billion Marketing portfolio, including Creative, MarTech, Print, and omnichannel delivery, while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• Senior-level experience in Strategic Sourcing with executive stakeholder engagement.
• Experience managing $1B+ spend in complex matrix organizations.
• Valid right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CMO and Marketing leadership to design category roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
• Build and mentor a dedicated team of marketing sourcing professionals.
• Lead multi-year global marketing category strategies including AI MarTech.
• Negotiate with agencies, AI content partners, and MarTech providers to maximize value.
• Govern budgets and working capital; benchmark agency rates; manage DPO90 initiatives.
• Coordinate contracting (MSAs, SOWs) with Marketing and IT; participate in reviews with leadership.
• Provide financial and market analyses to inform C-suite decisions on pricing and models.
• Drive transformation initiatives to accelerate go-to-market and efficiency.
• Represent Verizon at industry forums and with global partners.
