Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in a hybrid role, based in Ireland. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage the end-to-end sourcing process, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve best total value.

You will negotiate with suppliers, analyze financial data, and drive supplier relationship management while coordinating with Legal and Contract Management teams. You’ll work in an Agile environment across multiple categories, supporting strategic sourcing with industry

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent professional experience.
Knowledge of contracting terms and the legal language.
Proven ability to continuously learn new tools, solutions, and technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies across the enterprise to achieve best total value.
Manage seven steps of the sourcing process including spend analysis, market research and RFX management.
Lead cross-functional teams in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
Analyze financial and business data to support supplier development and risk mitigation.
Negotiate terms at senior management level and coordinate with Legal and Contract Management teams.
Drive supplier relationship management and cost/service improvements across categories.
