Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Marketing, to lead end-to-end commercial strategy for its global agency network in a hybrid Ireland role. You will build and manage a high-performing sourcing team, partner with the CMO and Marketing leadership, and drive AI-enabled, zero-based staffing models for creative, media, PR, and production agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, finance, or related discipline.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred for leadership and strategic impact.
• Proven track record leading sourcing and commercial negotiations in large global ad agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end commercial strategy for Verizon’s agency category (creative, media, PR, production).
• Manage a team of sourcing professionals in Ireland and partner with CMOs and VPs.
• Develop multi-year category strategies; drive AI-enabled, zero-based staffing models.
• Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, rate cards, and payment terms; monitor performance with SLAs.
• Optimize TCO via benchmarking and finance collaboration; streamline procurement lifecycles.
