Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment is assisting a client based at Dublin Airport to hire a Global Freight Administrator. The role coordinates international freight across air, sea, and road for global events, working with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

You will manage shipping documents, ensure customs compliance, monitor shipments, and support process improvements, using ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is essential.
• Strong understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Knowledge of international shipping methods and logistics processes.
• Experience using ERP or transport management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international freight shipments across air, sea, and road for global events.
• Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance, and deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses.
• Track shipments and provide operational updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain logistics systems, reports, and freight records.
• Support freight invoice reconciliation and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with international trade and import/export regulations.
