Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Project Manager for the Global Finance Transformation program in Ireland. The role focuses on delivering process improvements and automation across accounting functions, collaborating with sponsors, stakeholders and IT teams to drive efficient financial close and compliance.

You will lead multi-team projects, manage backlogs, and ensure timely delivery while balancing business needs with technical constraints. Some international travel (~10%) may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing and reading).
• Experience delivering process improvements with automation and analytical insights.
• Experience using financial models, KPIs and data analysis to support decisions.
• PMP certification or experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Interact with sponsors, stakeholders and accounting/technical teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Drive multiple projects to completion across organizations.
• Plan and manage parallel projects with cross-team interdependencies.
• Facilitate process improvement workshops with stakeholders.
• Communicate project status concisely and professionally.
• Build integrated project schedules accounting for dependencies and risk.
