Job summary

AMCS Group is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Quality & Excellence Manager to scale standards and quality practices across the global Engineering organisation. You will turn strategy into concrete standards, governance and improvement programmes, while Engineering Managers implement them in their teams.

This role acts as the central engineering point of contact for compliance and audit requirements, leveraging data-driven insights to close gaps and improve release quality across products

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience across multiple products or platforms.
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices: source control, code review, CI/CD, testing, security, observability.
• Proven ability to drive change through governance, data and influence.
• Experience with regulatory/audit frameworks (SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001) from engineering.
• Comfort operating globally across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Define, roll out and evolve global engineering standards across products and teams (source control, CI/CD, testing, security, observability).
• Own the global engineering maturity model and scorecard for leadership visibility.
• Identify systemic quality risks through data and drive improvement programs with Engineering Managers.
• Provide strategic leadership to the Quality Engineering function and allocate investments to high-risk areas.
• Coordinate with regulatory/compliance requirements and translate into engineering expectations and responses.
• Lead capability building with Engineering Managers while balancing standards with practical delivery.
