Job summary

Expeditors International in Ireland seeks a Customs Brokerage Coordinator to oversee clearance documentation with Irish authorities and advise customers on regulatory requirements in origin and destination countries.

You will liaise daily with customs authorities, review policies, implement changes, support cost-saving solutions, and deliver reliable service to key accounts while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs rules.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience within the Customs brokerage Industry or relevant education essential.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish customs procedures & systems.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to customers and internal employees at all levels.
• Previous experience with Word, Excel, Windows, Email, various PC based software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the process customs clearance documentation for our customer base.
• Deal with the customs authority on a daily basis.
• Deliver an excellent customer service to all customers.
• Be the specialist for all customs compliance issues and assist in resolving issues with the customer.
• Review and update all policies, procedures and controls.
• Ensure the relevant regulations are in place for all customers/business.
• Identify improvement opportunities and IT solutions for compliance and control.
