Job summary

Affirma Consulting Ireland Limited seeks an experienced content editor/writer to source, edit, programme and publish high-quality English content for international audiences. You will work with partners to ensure a top-tier user experience across global markets.

The role covers editorial quality assurance, content localisation (including Chinese-language content where required) and managing content through internal CMS platforms. A background in online publishing is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily web publishing or online editorial environment.
• Excellent English writing with flawless spelling and grammar.
• Ability to manage multiple editorial tasks concurrently.
• Experience evaluating content quality and relevance.
• Awareness of events and cultural moments in English-speaking markets.
• Ability to communicate features clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of online editorial best practices and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish high-quality English-language content for international audiences and markets.
• Support localisation and content quality initiatives across global markets, including Chinese-language content where required.
• Localise and quality-check content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
• Research, source, and edit visual assets to support editorial content.
• Manage content programming through internal content management systems.
• Collaborate with global partners to deliver timely and engaging content experiences.
• Apply strong editorial judgment to ensure content meets platform standards and business priorities.
• Monitor cultural trends and seasonal moments relevant to international English-speaking audiences.

Education

Diploma or Degree in journalism, communication, media, public relations, or related field

Master’s in communication, media or English writing
