Job summary

Aon is seeking a Client Service Advisor to join our Global team in Dublin. You will manage a portfolio of Global Clients across General Liability, Employers Liability, Motor, and Property Damage, handling renewals and inquiries with a strong client-focused service mindset.

Ideal candidates bring relevant broking experience, knowledge of Central Bank requirements, and progression towards CIP/MDI/ACII qualifications, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Ideally few years of relevant broking experience.
• Comply, on an ongoing basis, with the minimum competency requirements laid down by the Central Bank, including but not limited to:
• To be, or be working towards, CIP qualification with a desire to progress to MDI and ACII
• Meet the Central Bank Fitness & Probity standards
• Provide evidence of compliance with maintaining CPD hours where applicable (min 2 year)
• Have a desire to improve knowledge in various General Lines and other insurance products
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurers and colleagues
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with proficiency in managing strict deadlines
• Great teammate capable of working on own initiative
• Ability to prioritise workload and deliver on objectives
• Have a strong customer focus and a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft platforms i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of Global Clients within a busy and pro-active broking environment
• Managing clients’ renewals from start to finish, assisting with mid-term alterations, dealing with general day-to-day client and carrier queries and administrative duties pertaining to same
• Vetting insurance and supporting documentation against defined requirements and standards on behalf of Stakeholders
• Providing support to our designated claims team in the handling of insurance claims
• Providing assistance as required to colleagues across a range of General Lines products
• Reviewing policy wordings
• Building strong relationships with clients, underwriters and colleagues through the delivery of a leading market service
• Securing and retaining clients by providing excellent service
• Assisting the Global team and other Aon colleagues to continually deliver an excellent service
• Participation in campaigns and sales initiatives to target new clients
• Growing and sharing knowledge and capabilities
• Maintaining the utmost standards of compliance and adherence to broking best practice
• Aligning with all management audit requirements
• Other duties that may arise as the business requires
