Job summary

TikTok in Dublin seeks a high-impact Child Safety Team Lead for the EMEA region within Trust & Safety. You will lead a global team responsible for the timely detection and removal of content related to child safety, coordinating with Legal, Policy, and Product teams to manage escalations.

You will influence policies, drive process improvements, and partner with law enforcement as needed to protect users. The role requires strong leadership and a deep commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, relationship building, and working across cross-functional teams.
• At least 2 years of leadership and management of an Investigative or Trust and Safety team.
• Experience reviewing or exposure to sensitive content involving minors, including child safety cases.
• Ability to drive collaboration across multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead, multi-task and adapt in complex environments.
• Passion for protecting children and experience in Trust & Safety matters.
• Experience with leading in Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Child Safety Operations Specialists, ensuring daily operational effectiveness and professional development.
• Demonstrate operational excellence by evaluating risk, threats, and user safety in time-critical escalations.
• Coordinate with Product, Policy, Legal and external partners including law enforcement to protect users.
• Review potentially sensitive content and contribute to policy writing where appropriate.
• Create programs and processes to solve problems across the organization and report progress to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements for policy implementation.
