CEE Policy Lead for Trust & Safety

Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Policy Manager to lead regional policy for the CEE markets. You will own the development and evolution of policy guidance tailored to the CEE context, working across policy areas and partnering with Product, Operations, Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations to align with global standards.

You will design enforcement strategies across content areas, front escalations, and serve as the region’s primary policy contact for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of policy development, enforcement, or public policy in tech/social media environments.
• Strong knowledge of the CEE region and familiarity with Trust & Safety policy teams.
• Fluency in English and Russian.
• Interest in tech, media, and cultural trends affecting content safety and user wellbeing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Proven judgment and data-informed decision making in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and update policy guidance tailored to the CEE markets in line with global standards.
• Design and implement enforcement strategies addressing Hateful Behavior, Violent Behavior, Dangerous Actors, Mental Health, Integrity & Authenticity, and Human Exploitation.
• Serve as the primary Policy contact for the CEE region, handling escalations and policy decisions.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with product, operations, legal, public policy, and PR to drive policy evolution.
• Monitor regulatory developments and market trends in the CEE region to inform policy design.
