Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to lead large, complex implementations across EMEA, from mobilisation through go-live and transition.

You will coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, influence senior customer stakeholders and shape delivery plans with deep CX and AI fluency to realise measurable value, adoption and operational readiness. As a hybrid role with travel up to 20%, you’ll drive governance, manage budgets and margins, and ensure delivery remains aligned with

Qualifications

• English and German fluency to lead and deliver work
• 7+ years’ experience in project or programme management leading complex tech/SaaS deployments
• Customer-facing experience in technology or Professional Services
• Ability to lead large programmes while managing multiple engagements and senior stakeholders
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong strategic/analytical thinking and clear communication
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex implementation programmes from mobilisation through go-live
• Deliver to agreed customer outcomes, milestones and commercial commitments
• Translate objectives into measurable delivery outcomes to ensure adoption and value realisation
• Shape delivery plans using strong technical fluency in SaaS, CX and AI
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and stakeholders
• Establish programme governance, risk management and escalation paths
• Own escalations and recovery plans
• Maintain alignment with sales, customer success and product teams
