Zendesk is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to lead large, complex CX/AI implementation programmes across EMEA. You will steer cross-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure adoption, operational readiness and value realisation beyond pure technical delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and exceptional communication, with up to 20% travel and a hybrid office schedule.

Qualifications

• English and German fluency with ability to lead in both languages
• 7+ years of project or programme management experience leading complex technology or SaaS deployments
• Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in tech or professional services
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex programmes while managing multiple engagements and senior stakeholders
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority
• Highly organized, proactive, with strong attention to detail
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with sound decision-making in ambiguity
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Responsabilités

• Lead large, complex, high-value implementation programmes across EMEA
• Deliver to agreed customer outcomes, milestones and commercial commitments
• Translate objectives into measurable delivery outcomes focusing on adoption and value realization
• Shape delivery plans using deep understanding of SaaS, CX and AI solutions
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, partners and subcontractors
• Establish programme governance with reporting, RAID and escalation paths
• Act as senior delivery connector across services, pre-sales, sales and product
• Manage stakeholders from technical staff to C-suite
• Own escalations and recovery plans
• Shape delivery standards to improve operations
• Maintain autonomy and sound decisions in ambiguity
• Maintain budget, forecasting, scope, and revenue performance
• Identify opportunities to expand services engagements with Sales and CS
